MKTG 347 Week X- Get Creative With DALL·E 2

DALL·E 2, a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) system, can be used to create images and art from a description. The system combines concepts, styles and elements from a text description. The created artwork can be further edited by adding or removing elements from the composition. DALL·E 2 lets an individual’s imagination run wild!

DALL·E 2 allows users the ability to create artworks with a few phrases. The more detailed the description the better the accuracy of the image. Including specific art styles, colors, or additional elements can create a more detailed image. In my experimentation, I explored various descriptions using the theme of Halloween. Creating artwork becomes as simple as entering a description, such as a grocery shopping ghost or a 3D rendering of a pumpkin in a witches hat. After a few moments various versions of the description are produced. Here are a few artworks I created:

After inviting family and friends to experiment with the system through social media and word of mouth, I received various engagements. Multiple people liked the post, commented with images, or sent artwork directly. Here are a few various versions of the imaginative generated images created by my parents:

DALL·E 2 is a great tool for creating images from a description. Through trial and error, an individual can create visionary artworks. AI technology will continue to evolve to allow individuals to create innovative images. Experiment with the system and see what you can produce.

Individuals are exploring the continuously evolving AI through different means. The first level of responding to AI is adapting. After developing some interest in AI, individuals can start taking an active approach at the adapt level. Developing habits, such as setting aside time to research AI, is an active approach. To build a habit of researching, individuals can set reminders on a Google calendar or their phone to read an article or book about AI. Adapting to AI requires a habit of researching. Developing an awareness of AI helps individuals understand the importance of AI. Kelsey suggests investing time in reading the news. With AI...

Google Ads offer a variety of ad extensions to add additional information to an ad. The ad extensions an advertiser chooses are based on goals. A few goal-specific ad extensions are location, call, app, and price assets. With numerous ad extension options, advertisers can be overwhelmed. In “Google Ads Tutorials: Ads & Extensions” , Google Ads identify callouts, sitelinks, and structured snippet ad extensions that can be universally used for all marketing objectives. Callout ad extensions can increase the performance of an ad. In Introduction to Search Engine Marketing and Adwords: A Guide for Absolute Beginners , Todd Kelsey describes the beneficial ad extensions. Callout extensions add value propositions or unique qualities of the business to an ad. A callout can include phrases such as low prices or free shipping. For example, L.L. Bean lists a return policy in their callout extension. Callout extensions provide users with unique business information. Text ads can include siteli...
